Maryland STEM Fest
The Allegany Robotics team will have a showing of their robots at Frostburg State University on May fifth from 10 AM to 2 PM. The event will showcase the work of several dedicated students and provide information on the process of robot creation and testing.
Mountain Ridge Jazz Band
The Mountain Ridge Jazz Band will have a showing at the Palace Theater on May 7th at 7 PM. They will perform a wide variety of work from the genre, in a historic and gorgeous local theater.

Food For Fines
April 12th is Food For Fines day at Allegany county libraries. If you currently have fines on your library card, donate nonperishable food- one item for one dollar of fines, up to 10 dollars. All donation will be sent to the Western Maryland Food Bank, and while you're there, consider seeing everything else your local library system has to offer.
